First preparations for Christmas

I always try to give some handmade gifts to my dearest friends; some cookies, sewing or boxes with decoupage. This year I decided for small purses with cross-stitched letters. I finished the stitching and ordered the purse frames ... hopefully I will have enough freetime to complete the project. Because this year we will celebrate Christmas with our little son, who supposed to be born in October.

Minden évben igyekszek saját kezűleg készített karácsonyi ajándékot adni barátaimnak: sütit, varrást vagy szalvétázott dobozt. Idén keresztszemes bukszákat tervezek. A minták elkészültek, és a pattanózárakat is megrendeltem. Remélem, időben megérkeznek és lesz időm befejezni, kisfiam októberi születése előtt.

Key holder with Letter M

This far, none of my stitchings needed finishing, because I did only pictures for the walls. I wanted to step further and do a simple finishing on a key holder or pincushion with the letter M cross-stitched on it. I must tell, the sewing of the small pillow took much more time than the cross stitching.

Eddig csak képeken dolgoztam, amiket keretezni kellett, az én munkám a kivarrásnál befejeződött. Ezért valami egyszerű mintával el akartam kezdeni gyakorolni a befejezést is. M betűs kulcstartót vagy tűpárnát készítettem súlytászsinóros széllel. Meg kell hogy mondjam, a kulcstartó megvarrása sokkal több időt igényelt, mint a betű keresztszemezése.
